I used to use elfeed as well as newsboat in the past and was hoping to get even better podcast support from Demeter, at least, eventually.
Some ideas would include:
- Interfacing with external programs like
mpv - Saving your “progress”
- Annotating / note-taking with optional timestamps
- Grabbing transcripts when available, or performing Automatic Speech Recognition otherwise
- And probably more things I can’t think of at the moment
Any other ideas to add?
